Third Eigh8all [Video/Action Goldenrod]

Oh hey, is this thing working? Oh Good.

[The camera comes on to Vriska's face for a second before turning to the road in front of her.]

So I got myself a couple more of these Pokémon since I last posted on here when I got Marquise.

[Grabbing a Pokéball she lets out the creature inside. A Magikarp flops on the ground.]

This is Camer-- Tavros you stupid fish! How did you get in front of Cameron's Pokéball!? Is this your way of wanting attention? Well ha! I'm not giving it to you. See how you like that. [Tavros, the Magikarp, continues to flop around.]

Ignore him, that's just Tavros. He's kiiiiiiiinda useless, just like his namesake. Hahahahahahahaha!

Anyway. [A moment later a small Buneary appears and hops right on over to Tavros. He tries to calm the fish down a bit.]

This is Cameron, Cameron Poe. He's going to be the most badass, rugged hoppy creature anyone's ever seen. He was also a present from John. Oh and Rose too I guess.

If anyone wants to challenge my team of awesomey awesome I'm in Goldenrod. I'll be happy to take anyone one.

[She turns the camera back on herself, grinning. Feel free to come challenge Vriska. None of her Pokemon are over level 25, and she's got an ego about the size of Johto itself. Be careful though, she's also prone to cheating.]

[ He thumbs a ball from his waist and expands it, spinning it briefly on his fingertip. ]

You want me to go first to give you a handicap?

Doesn't matter how many "irons" you got if they're all as pathetic as this one. Seriously, when are you gonna to mention something impressive? You're getting boring.

It's obviously not the only thing I'm good at, but if you can't even appreciate how good I am, I almost feel sorry for you. Too bad I have better things to waste my pity on.

Well, he's alive and well here, isn't he? That's got to count for something.

[OH WHAT A RELIEF. Gamzee's petrified look or worry quickly disappears, and that cheerful expression he always is seen wearing resurfaces as quickly as it vanished.]

Of course that would be what you're doing here. Yeah, there's a breeding center here. Don't know too much about it though. Looks like it's run by a bunch of goodies. Hey, you'll probably fit right in.

I hope so. I mean, hope that I fit in, of course, because, then it would be easier for me to do things that I need to do, without having to worry about, uhh, conflicts.

[She raises an eyebrow at the name 'Doctor', but refrains from actually commenting.]

Vriska Serket. And it doesn't really surprise me much at all. My life seems to be full of paradoxes and time shenanigans lately.

Well, I didn't think anyone was actually going to think Tavros turned into a fish. So no, no reason for you to worry your painted face off over it.

You arrived here with Karkat, right?

[ Dave tips his wrist and the ball opens, a Charizard emerging. The Pokémon stretches his wings and looks idly at Vriska. ]

[Ouch, way to hit a troll where it hurts. Pity is a big thing with them, but she grits her teeth, tries to pretend it doesn't bother her.]

You want impressive then. I'll show you impressive.

[She snatches up a Pokéball and releases a Pokémon she hadn't intended on sharing really. It hadn't been her's to begin with, left behind by someone else. But she turned the camera to face the Aerodactyl that now stood before her.]

Haaaaaaaaardly. It's perfectly natural. What might be unhealthy is the extent I'm willing to go to try and help the guy.

[Well she had to admit, she didn't quite expect that. She send out Tavros first, just to get him out of the way.]

[Now that's more like it. The fact that he managed to goad her into revealing something like that was more than worth it, so getting to see an actual Aerodactyl was just icing on the cake. He doesn't bother to hide his excitement, despite retaining the same amount of smugness in his tone.]

Not bad. Only makes your decision to show off the Magicarp even dumber, though, if you had a Pokémon like that in your roster.

[[From there she nods and shuts the feed off. It's a little bit before she shows up, as she had to pick which Pokemon to use, but pretty soon she arrives. Her Espeon in tow, her Noctowl on her head as usual, and a Nartac around her shoulders. From the looks of it, these are the only three she brought.]]

Mind if we have a little conversation while we battle?

Well, really, I suppose I could say the same. Then again, 'time shenanigans' are practically in my job description.

...Vriska? [Riiiiight, he'd heard that name before. Now he knew why 'Tavros' sounded familiar.] Nice to meet you.

[ Tock peers down at the fish skeptically, then looks over his shoulder at Dave. Dave shrugs. ]

Knock that shit out.

[ Still wearing that slightly skeptical expression, Tock reaches out to swipe fast at Tavros with his claws. ]

[And that's really all it takes as Tavros goes flying off to the side and lands, going completely sti... Vriska just rolls her eyes, and leaves him there for now sending out Cameron.]

Thunder Punch. Show 'em how to put the bunny back in the box. [Yes it was lame, and yes she reusing lines during battle. She thinks it's clever.]

[She frowns slightly, a lot less pleased to see her in person. She's not as sure as she was earlier that she can thrash her, not the way her Pokémon are looking, and in all other matters she'd rather avoid Rose entirely.

Especially Rose and conversations. But here she was, and she had an idea that if she said no Rose might talk at her anyway.]

Whatever. Let's just do this.

[She wasn't sure if she meant the battle or the conversation.]

[[With a nod, she sends in Nartac first, her lowest leveled at 43. The little Glameow is just kind of...shaking. He wants to go back on his mother's shoulders, not out in the open and having to face new Pokemon and oh god oh god. But. It's a battle. He knows that music. So he must steel his nerves!]]

It's about John.

[[Nope, she's not going to beat around any bushes.]]

[Of course it is. She scowls.]

What about him?

[Great, was Rose going to get on her case for confessing to her boyfriend? Just what she needed.

She turns to look at the Buneary hopping impatiently at her side.]

Get to it Cameron. [He hops out happily and punches at the air.]

[[The cat Pokemon, meanwhile, eyes him warily. Can't they just be friends?]]

You wish to be moirails with him, right?

[[Eying the Buneary carefully, she tries to decide what move best to use.]]

Nartac, if you'd please. Try and strike him with Hypnosis.

That's right. Problem?

[Cameron will be friends too, but that sounded like a battle command, and he does enjoy these battles. What's it gonna be Nartac?]

That's what Prick said! And then stop about halfway between them to use the requested move which, if it hits, will put the poor Buneary to sleep.]]

A little. Though I have a feeling it isn't what you're expecting. Actually, I'm here to give you advice on that.

[It does indeed hit the poor bunny, and he falls right asleep. Vriska doesn't actually bother to do anything about it. There are more important matters here. She can crush Rose another time perhaps.]
