Third Eigh8all [Video/Action Goldenrod]

Oh hey, is this thing working? Oh Good.

[The camera comes on to Vriska's face for a second before turning to the road in front of her.]

So I got myself a couple more of these Pokémon since I last posted on here when I got Marquise.

[Grabbing a Pokéball she lets out the creature inside. A Magikarp flops on the ground.]

This is Camer-- Tavros you stupid fish! How did you get in front of Cameron's Pokéball!? Is this your way of wanting attention? Well ha! I'm not giving it to you. See how you like that. [Tavros, the Magikarp, continues to flop around.]

Ignore him, that's just Tavros. He's kiiiiiiiinda useless, just like his namesake. Hahahahahahahaha!

Anyway. [A moment later a small Buneary appears and hops right on over to Tavros. He tries to calm the fish down a bit.]

This is Cameron, Cameron Poe. He's going to be the most badass, rugged hoppy creature anyone's ever seen. He was also a present from John. Oh and Rose too I guess.

If anyone wants to challenge my team of awesomey awesome I'm in Goldenrod. I'll be happy to take anyone one.

[She turns the camera back on herself, grinning. Feel free to come challenge Vriska. None of her Pokemon are over level 25, and she's got an ego about the size of Johto itself. Be careful though, she's also prone to cheating.]

[There's a bit of petulant foot stomping.]

Of course I want to battle! Would I have asked if I didn't!?

[Shrug. Right then, don't say he didn't try and warn you off. His team is here (http://usedfuryswipes.livejournal.com/661.html#cutid1).]

Natsuki, guess you're up then.

[His Ninetales steps forward with a little toss of her head.]

Well to get the stupid portion out of the way, I guess Tavros gets to go first.

[She kicks the Magikarp forward, and it "karp"s in response.]

Since it's your only move lamey loser, Splash attack!

[And Tavros, well, splashes, uselessly]

[Natsuki shoots a glance back at her trainer--really? You really want me to fight this thing?]

Energy Ball.

[Well, no use in holding back. Natsuki plants her paws, lowers her head, and fires a green ball of energy from her mouth at the Magikarp.]

[As anyone could have guessed the fireball hits the poor poor Magikarp dead on. It's floundering about has slowed, it's barely still conscious. But the experience it'll get from this.

She calls it back. And looks down at the Buneary]

All right Cameron, your turn. Show 'em how to put the bunny back in the box. Thunder punch!

[[ooc: would it be possible for a second thunder punch after Natsuki's next turn to paralyze her?]]

[[ooc: Sure. Energy Ball is Grass, by the by. :3]]

[Quick little bunny. Natsuki jumps to the side, but not quite fast enough--she gets hit on one of her legs, yelping in surprise and trying to shake the sudden pins and needles out.]

Will-o-wisp!

[Fine, you want to play that game? Natsuki snarls and spits out a torrent of blue-white spirit flame that'll burn if it makes contact, tails lashing.]

[[ooc: aahh right. Cools]]

Don't let that stuff hit you Cameron. [Cameron Poe hops to the side barely avoiding the attack.]

All right, Thunder Punch again, quicker this time!

[The attack this time hits dead in the middle of Natsuki's flank, sending a crackling burst of electricity over her body that makes her muscles seize and fire wrong. Ken frowns--but she's still got plenty of health left, even if the paralysis will make her slower, prone to freezing up.]

Hold on, you can pull through it! Fire Spin!

[But it's no go, right now she's still trying to shake off the initial paralysis.]

Ha ha! [Vriska pumps her fist and points.] All right follow it up with a Pound attack.

[Cameron obliges and charges toward the Natsuki as fast as his hoppy legs will take him and slams into her as hard as he can. It doesn't deal much damage and he hops back quickly.]

[Ken's not one to stubbornly make her stay in, though, even if she'd probably rather power through it herself.]

Natsuki, come back.

[He actually recalls her into her Pokeball to get her off the field, before throwing out another.]

Yuriko, your turn!

[His Breloom pops out of her ball in a burst of light, bouncing lightly and ready to go.]

[[ooc: Breloom's ability gives a 30% chance of paralyze, poison, or sleep on contact, just so you know. I'll leave it up to you if it takes effect.]]

Whoops, wrong move. Cameron here, knows some special attacks. He was boooooooorn with them.

Cameron get it with a Fire Punch!

[The Buneary hops up and down punching the air in succession before warming up for the actual attack. Then moves forward to release the flaming offense. He's still only level ten however, and after his attack connects he stumbles backwards and flops right over.]

What the....

Hey! Get up! Cameron! Are you fucking asleep!?

[Well, he was pretty sure his kangaroo-dinosaur-mushroom thing could take whatever your little bunny was about to dish out. Looks like he was right.]

Breloom's ability has a decent chance of making whatever hits it fall asleep, get poisoned, or become paralyzed.

[For future reference. Ken has an evil little smile on his face.]

Yuriko, Force Palm!

[The Force Palm is enough to knock Cameron Poe out and Vriska recalls him with a frown. It's okay though, she has two more Pokémon and next she sends out her Spinarak]

All right Spinneret show 'em who's boss.

[Spinneret looks over at Yuriko and back at Vriska as if asking if she really has to battle. Vriska gestures for her to go out.]

Night Shade!

[Yuriko takes the hit, tipping back onto her tail before bouncing back up, ready to go. But Ken calls her back anyway--he's being a bit of an ass about this, but he really doesn't care.]

Ran, go!

[The next pokeball to get tossed out onto the field contains his Gardevoir, who just floats there with his skinny proto-arms crossed.]

[The switch on Pokémon actually makes Vriska think she's doing well.]

Good job Spinneret. Looks like you're good for something. Not constrict.

[The Spinarak seems more intimidated by the Gardevoir than the Breloom, but she shuffles forward anyway, and shoots the constricting web. It wraps itself around Ran, but he should be easily able to shake it off.]

[Well, at least there's that.]

[Ran's powers activate, stretching and tearing at the webbing binding his arms--not like he really needs them, but.]

Ran, Psychic.

[...overkill much, Hidaka?]

[Definitely overkill. Spinneret just falls right over. Even if she hadn't been legit knocked out by that blow she might have faked it anyway, she doesn't like battling stronger enemies.

However Marquise does. And that's who Vriska sends out next. The Skorupi lashes her tail for show. She's dangerous, after all. You should fear her.]

Okay Marquise, Poison Sting!

[Ran's arm comes up to stop the attack from hitting his face, and he frowns slightly when he feels the tingle of poison setting in.

Nevermind that he could stay in and probably hit the Skorupi with another Psychic, Ken already has another Pokeball in hand and an Antidote in the other.]

Ran, back. Nana, your turn!

[Hay Marquise, meet your evolution.]

[Marquise makes a satisfied noise. Yeees, this is the fight for her. She'll take you on Drapion]

Get it with a Pin Missile Marquise!

[Losing her Bug typing in favor of Dark made Nana a bit more susceptible to Bug-type attacks--but not nearly as much as she'd be without her Poison type. The Pin Missile hits one of her claws, doing some damage.]

Nana. Earthquake.

[Wow, Ken, way to be a huge asshole about this.]

[The quake nearly knocks Marquise out, but she manages to hold on and Vriska pulls out a potion. She's not out yet.]

Poison Sting again Marquise. Drain it of it's health little by little. Hahahahahaha!
