Third Eigh8all [Video/Action Goldenrod]

Oh hey, is this thing working? Oh Good.

[The camera comes on to Vriska's face for a second before turning to the road in front of her.]

So I got myself a couple more of these Pokémon since I last posted on here when I got Marquise.

[Grabbing a Pokéball she lets out the creature inside. A Magikarp flops on the ground.]

This is Camer-- Tavros you stupid fish! How did you get in front of Cameron's Pokéball!? Is this your way of wanting attention? Well ha! I'm not giving it to you. See how you like that. [Tavros, the Magikarp, continues to flop around.]

Ignore him, that's just Tavros. He's kiiiiiiiinda useless, just like his namesake. Hahahahahahahaha!

Anyway. [A moment later a small Buneary appears and hops right on over to Tavros. He tries to calm the fish down a bit.]

This is Cameron, Cameron Poe. He's going to be the most badass, rugged hoppy creature anyone's ever seen. He was also a present from John. Oh and Rose too I guess.

If anyone wants to challenge my team of awesomey awesome I'm in Goldenrod. I'll be happy to take anyone one.

[She turns the camera back on herself, grinning. Feel free to come challenge Vriska. None of her Pokemon are over level 25, and she's got an ego about the size of Johto itself. Be careful though, she's also prone to cheating.]

Well, I guess so, yes, in a way.

It's just that it sort of, uhh, implies that you thought of me, for a thing, instead of not. And I think it's better than the not being thought of, uhh, part that I said, in general, mostly, so that's why it's cool. Especially since, uhh, I didn't think that my name was a name that you would want to call a thing that's yours.

[Stare]

[Pause in case she might be about to say something nice]

That's incredibly lame. That's just the kind of sentimental thinking that got you ki-- will get you killed.

[ raises eyebrows!! what was that about--oh okay time to answer a question, he'll get back around to his own concern later. ]

Well... because it reminds you of me, in some sort of way, regarding its traits or appearance? [ side-eyes that awkward fish. ] But maybe not so much the appearance part, maybe.

Traits definitely. More like the fact that it's completely, totally, utterly useless until it evolves. [She'll leave out the part where once it evolves it's a total badass apparently]

It can't do anything but flop around. Which is kinda like you. You couldn't even climb some stairs.

Oh, well, yes, that's true, but it's not exactly a thing that I--or it, the floppy creature thing, I mean--can help, really. But I can do things besides flop, sometimes, so, uhh, at least I have that much to separate the two of us, I hope.

Yeah, I guess you have that. Sometimes you can do things. Not very useful things. But things I guess. It's called a Magikarp by the way.

You know, I suppose there is some sort of sentimental value involved. I only got it because it reminded me of you after all. Had to have something to toughen up.

That's, uhh, sort of the impression that I was getting, and it's kind of, I guess, maybe a nice gesture, theoretically. Even if your manner of toughening kind of makes me, uhh, worry about the Magic Carp, that you have there, a little bit.

Oh, "yet," that's a good qualifier to put on something, in this case, I think.

Oh, uhh... well, I guess so. A lot of people were saying they could help me with, you know, stuff, if I needed it, and generally being nice and things like that. That's a thing that friends do, I think, so I guess I could call them that...

Apparently [There's a huge eyeroll here, because Vriska clearly does not agree] everyone thinks I'm too harsh on you.

Do you. think I'm too hard on you? [She gives him a look that says he better answer carefully or there might be consequences]

[ ........... yeah, he is seriously rethinking his answer after seeing that look. ]

I don't really, uhh, have a thing to compare it to, the hard factor, of you toward me, versus, uhh, someone else toward me...

... you could, maybe be a little, uhh, softer. I guess. If you wanted to.

Really? If I were any softer on you Tavros, it would defeat the whoooooooole purpose. I think I go easy on you enough as it is.

[She's slightly considering it however. Here Tavros is, alive and well, and she has a second chance. And John had suggested that maybe she try things differently.]

I don't know about that, but I guess there are some situations where it's, uhh, not completely bad, at least, and only a little bit hard, as opposed to a lot hard. On me, coming from you, I mean.

[ he would definitely not protest this change whatsoever. maybe be mildly alarmed by it. but only for a minute. ]

Could you get any less straight forward in what you just said. But you're right, I'm not a bluh bluh huge bitch all the time despite what some of these people may think.

[It certainly won't be an easy change, or even noticeable at first.]

That's sort of a broad generalization, uhh, to be making about you, or about anyone, really, I guess, yeah.

Yeah, well tell that to other people. You'd think I was some horrible person or something. They just don't get it.

Right now? Oh, uhh, well, I'm actually kind of on the in-between part of two places. I just left Cherrygrove a little bit ago, because some people were saying that it's, uhh, most likely, not a good place to stay for a long time.

Really? You just left Cherrygrove? How long have you been here exactly. C'mon Tavros, get a hussle on it! You'll never catch up at this rate. Sheeeeeeeeesh.
