So how, exactly, would a girl go a8out joining Team Rocket, anyway?

[And got her more than a couple lectures, from the sounds of things.]

Considering what they've done to this world and to us? That's not surprising. You're better off staying as far away from them as you can get.

Her eye rolling is probably almost audible]

Yeah, yeah. Out of curiosity what are the details on some of what they've done?

[a sigh. She's going to have to prepare a briefing for the world at some point...or something. fal'Cie, what a mess.]

They attacked the train in Goldenrod on its first trip to Kanto, threatening to blow it up if they didn't get what they wanted. They also did something to flood the streets with trash and Poison types back in May, which may have caused the storms that swept across the region. [okay, those last two aren't confirmed to be Team Rocket, but who else could pull it off?]

Like I said. They're not the kind of people you want to associate with.

[Sounds like a party to her. Except maybe the trash part.]

I remember the train incident. And the trash one too. That one was pretty gross.

No kidding. [snort.] They also attack trainers directly to steal their Pokemon, and more than one of them has used bombs to blow up buildings here.

[Such as the Lighthouse, and then there's Cobra and his thankfully failed attempt at blowing up Goldenrod City...yeah they're not nice people.]

[Sounds a lot like her kind of people, really. Vriska's not very nice people. It's a good thing she has better people to look out for her.]

But you're still thinking about joining them, aren't you? You're not convinced it's a terrible idea yet.

[A wild guess, and she's not the best at reading people, but still. It seems that way to her.]

I think it sounds more fun then a lot of things I've been doing lately, but I have people that would be pretty mad if I went and joined a villainous group.

Besides I'm more the kind to stop the bad guys, then join them. [Even if the bad guys sound more fun] I was going to stop the big bad back home before things got the better of me I guess.

[Huh. Better than she was expecting, at least. But that could mean a lot of things so it's best to remain cautious.]
